NFC time tracking for construction sites — tamper-proof & app-free

The modern NFC clock for the Baustelle: tap and done. With GPS geofence and anti-clone protection, every clock-in is tamper-proof — with no app install.

What is NFC time tracking?

An NFC site tag (or QR code) is placed on site. The worker holds their phone to the tag — a web page opens and the time is recorded. No app, no app-store login, works on Android and iPhone.

Tamper-proof against tag cloning

  • GPS location on every clock-in — with a per-site geofence.
  • Anti-clone heuristic blocks impossible clock-ins (same worker in two places at once).
  • Blocked/suspicious clock-ins visible in the dashboard and exportable as CSV.
  • 6-digit worker PIN against misuse.

Why app-free?

Construction workers often switch devices and languages. Pure web capture via NFC/QR removes the barrier to entry — no updates, no install, multilingual UI.

Customs- & GoBD-compliant

Every record is audit-proof with time-stamp and location. The working-time proof incl. location/map link exports for customs (FKS) inspections.

FAQ

Do workers need an app?

No. Tapping the NFC tag or scanning the QR opens a web page. No app install — Android & iPhone.

How does EmployGuard prevent tag cloning?

Via GPS geofence and an anti-clone heuristic: clock-ins from impossible locations (unrealistic speed between two points) are blocked and logged.

What does an NFC tag cost?

Physical EmployGuard NFC site tags start at €2 per tag. One tag covers all authorized workers on that site.

Can I use only QR codes?

Yes. You can print QR codes yourself (posters/labels) or order physical NFC tags — or combine both.
